On September 23, we were deciding how we should organize the tour for Mrs. Benton's class to see our creations on Minecraft. Some people disagreed about how we would present and gave pros and cons on why they thought their way was more efficient. Some people wanted to control the computer, and show the students their creations themselves, and others wanted to let the students show themselves around and sort of figure out the purpose of what people had made. On one hand, the people that said we (the creators) should control the computers ourselves, said that the students might accidentally brake their creations (on accident or on purpose) and no one else would be able to see the creation if they didn't know how to move properly. They also said that any questions the other class had could be answered easily if they had a tour guide. On the other hand, the people that said that the students should control the game themselves said that it could be a possibility for our teacher to make it so you could only move around and view the creations, and not build/destroy what we worked to make. They also said it would show if it would be easy or hard for someone to figure out how to use what they made without knowing much about the game. Either way, the both are good options to use to present things in Minecraft despite that they show different things to the creators and the students.
